Ooh, I like it! The background and terrain is absolutely spectacular. ^^ All of the colors and textures work well together... though it looks a little chilly for my tastes. xD And the horse is PWETTTY!

My only piece of crit is that their proportions seem a bit off. Hobbit-like, almost. I think it's mostly that their heads are too big, and perhaps that the horse would have to be very tall, indeed.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe it would help by getting some barbie dolls and model horses to help with proportions to each other [emoticon]

haha xD Maybe. THough if you ask me, the words "barbie" and "proportion" should never be used in the same sentence. Google would probably be more accurate, plus you can specify the kind of horse.

-!! Book fanart! And how beautifully done! The colors, the posing: It all feels very rich and real, very much the earthy illustration. [emoticon]

Appreciate it!

Care to read the story too? I posted the first four chapters. Writing's one thing. Editing's another. 'Tis why it's taking sooooo long to get done.

Question:
If fanart is for another book, what do you call it if it's your own book?

Anyways, thanks!

... Actually, I think that'd be my fault: I'm far too used to commenting on fanart, these days. [emoticon] Actually, I'd be quite interested to! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Oh, it's okay! Check out my comic too. I'm turning the novel into picture form. Woot! This is going to be a challenge!

I love this: the colors especially- they seem so classy. Is the cut-out/pixelated effect deliberate, though?

Yes. I acutally used different photos to create the background while the rest was hand drawn. It's old, before I bought a tablet. Still, it's a favorite [emoticon]

Thanks!
