She stared into his green eyes with disbelief written on her face. Was he serious? Did he actually mean that just now? He turned and left without another word, leaving her alone in the brutal cold.

She felt betrayed. Foolish. Stupid.

How could she be so blind? Those eyes...those were not the ones that she fell in love with so many years ago...
