Artist's Comments

This one has been a long haul both for me and for the person to whom it was promised.  It's my half of an art swap, but I got my painting something like a year ago, and this one didn't get sent to her until now.  *sigh*  I'm hopeless, aren't I?  Moral of the story - if you want to do an art swap with me, wait until I'm done my half before sending yours.  [emoticon]

My guilt is extraordinary.

Thanks to Steven - Dr. Strangelove of Elfwood and the Garden for fixing my awful photography so I could post my artwork in galleries.

In the photo and fixup it appears that the ring of darkness around the black orb has vanished.  Ah well - just imagine there's one there, as there really is on the picture.  [emoticon]

This looks magnificent. I'd say it was worth the wait. [emoticon]

'Normal' is merely a polite term for boring.
