The Violin

Artist's Comments

Finished! And in only a few days. Hopefully this trend can be sustained!

Anyhow, this is the first in the series I'm planning to do, each including spirits of musical instruments. This one, as you can see, is the violin. I know I've made some mistakes with the proportions, however I noticed only after it was irreversible. *sob* I didn't want to start again, either, for fear of becoming frustrated with the drawing.

Anyhow, hope you like it. Hopefully I'll have another few out soon.

You're reeeaally good at textures. *reaches out and pokes the dress* It looks like real fabric.

Thanks sweets!

Yes - my boyfriend thought I was insane when I said I was going to hand draw the whole fabric pattern all over the dress... but I'm glad I did. I think it gives the right kind of weight to the piece.

I agree with him - you must have been out of your mind. xD But that's okay, I agree with you, too. The added texture really brings life to the piece.

I am out of my mind! Though I'll admit, this texture was a lot easier and faster than the brocade I chose for the flute (Up in my gallery now). All the flowers on that took quite a while, trying to ensure they stayed the same size, too.

Anyhow, I have to get back to modding. Much love!

Yeah, I saw your flute picture (it looks nice, btw). That was just insane.

Have fun modding! xD

I know - It's been way too long since I produced anything. It helps a whole lot for me to have a scanner available again, as I've never much been one for computer art (I just don't have the patience!)

Thanks, Susie. I'm glad you like it. [emoticon]
