Geeze Zac! You've accumulated such a volume of works lately; and they've all been wonderful! I love the negative border, and Hawthorne's stance in general. Big kudos Zac, this is wonderful.

the border you used for the window just adds something extra. i think that if you didn't have it there it would just be good. but the window takes this picture up a notch. i also like how his figure fades into the ground. i think this is your best hawthorn pic. photoshop really does its justice here.

Thanks I'm glad you like, I had him in a different pose at first but it felt over used to me so i switched it up a little. This one was done in photo shop 4 like most of my recent ones. not my favorite version but i do like it's simplicity now and again.

This is really beautiful Zac! The visual of the spell is really marvellous. To me he looks to be walking from one door/window to another. I love the flames you did and the red and brown shades which really add something... I really don't know how to say it. He looks ready to jump out of the picture. Haven't expected that from me did you? hehe! But I just gotta fav it. You know, I would really like to know what's his story.

Thanks Atlantis, I'm happy to hear from ya. His story is well.... long and somewhat complicated and hopefully going to blossom into several books eventually. [emoticon] When I get around to writing more of it down that is. basically though he is ahalf elf that was bitten by a vampire. The vampire side took over his human half but left him uneffected as far as his elven side goes. In my story elves are sort of like angels sans the wings. so he is a mixture of light and dark powers, thus unique and outcast. He is eventually set on a long journey to sway the balance between good and evil... if he can choose one. that is the shortest I can describe it and it still seems long. [emoticon]

Sounds interesting. I'd love to read the story sometime. That is if you will post it. You know, I think it would be interesting to do a pic with you sometime. How about it? I have never worked on a piece together with someone, so that would just be great. [emoticon] Just something that crossed my mind.^^

I would be more than happy to do a collaberation, I've done one before and I liked the way the mix of styles turned out. Just let me know what your thinkin about. My only request is that I'm allowed to do something fantasy for my part of it. [emoticon]

Thanks, when I was in the conceptual design part of this character it took me a while to settle on a sword/weapon that I liked for him. I ended up going with that one though and am happy I did, When in full view it is quite a brute. It stands about his height. I looked at your page, hope to see some of your work at some point. best of luck with all that scanner business.

This is really awesome. I just love the character and the red swirls. My eyes are going to that border though. I suggest lowering the contrast on that inverted border.

Hey! I recognize THIS guy! [emoticon] So he is using some sort of spell to move into different worlds? That kind of sounds like what I can do on my Devil May Cry games. :ponder: You do such a great job working with the photoshop thingy. And I just love the negative parts of the border. Very well done my dear. ^^

Devil May Cry is a pretty sweet series. I have yet to play the third but I'll get around to it. I'm a bit of a game nerd, tis one o' me favorite hobbies. Anywho, yup that is Hawthorn again, he is a prevelent subject in my works. It's nice to find a character I like enough to draw more than once [emoticon] Thanks for the comment Kristy.
