My first cartoon cat commission (say that when 3 times fast) was for "Phoelix The Un-neutered" which was a vicious looking tom with battle scars and a fearsome glare. The people who bought him had a marital battle and the framed Phoelix ended up as a weapon. He landed in the sink and drowned, poor thing.
This is a quick sketch done as tribute to a memorable tomcat. Goodbye, brave Phoelix, may you beget many more litters, wherever you are.
