Critiques for "Lullaby"

Aw... I see so little art concerning Yondaime and Naruto, and I think this is really excellent. I love how you handled their hair, different but so alike, and really interestingly shaded.
The candles are great, nice detail having them progressively darker towards the bottom, as the lit wick would make that effect.
You did well with his torn/bloody clothing as well, and Kyuubi in the background is a good touch.
All in all, I love this!

The sort of "bedhead" hair can be a bit awkward to do, so I'm glad it looks good or at the least, interesting.

This picture is kind of my baby in a lot of ways and definitely my heaviest picture. I drew it for myself and if no one liked it, it didn't really matter. So comments like these are realy nice to receive.

There are so many emotions that I wanted to convey and I'm glad that they get across so well in this portrayal of a single moment in time.

Yeah, it came out pretty well. "Bedhead" hair is always hit and miss and in a picture like this, I'm glad it worked.

nicely done on the candles. not too many people who do fan art put any attention into the background.

That always surprises me. Backgrounds can really make the picture and when people decide not to include them it makes it look really empty. I don't think they're all that hard, but they can be rather monotonous.

Nicely done and very poignant. Not a fan of Naruto but I like this piece alot.

It's very bittersweet and unrelenting when the concept came to mind. I actually dropped what project I was doing to do it.
