i don't know any better way to do wings but the look fine as they are.

Your colors are great, and I love the way you do the leather ^_^ The shine makes it so convincing. What made me stop and look twice was the way you show such emotion in such a straight body. His shoulders are squared, and his body language is so strong, but then his expression is so pained. Its a beautiful contrast and says a lot without words. Well done!

Well, sometimes things that are super popular aren't as impressive as some of the less popular things, I mean, when I spend days on a piece, that I put symbolism and my heart into, I get zero feedback, but I swear to god I do a scribble and people swear its the best thing since sliced bread. (Not that that's necessarily true for you, just a personal observation) I'm really tired, so what I'm trying to say is that some of the unsung stuff can be the best ^_^

Lol Actually I know exactly what you mean. I did a quick scribble of Link and a chicken at around five in the morning. It seems to be loved by everyone who sees it. *Wants to kill the picture*

Lovely character, I really love the soft sad look of his eye. The background frames the subject nicely without detracting from it. I would have gone with some darker values in places, especially in the hair and clothing to make the lighter values pop, but overall this is a very well done piece. Thanks for sharing it.

More where the shadows are? Hehe I kept brightening up the picture because people were telling me it was too dark. But brightening it just didn't seem to work. I want to give your suggestion a try. Thank you!

Yes, cast shadows where the clothing lies on top of his shoulders, under his arm and along the side where the light would not be as strong. Putting some darks in the hair will also push the highlights forward for more contrast. Good luck.
