thinner eyebrows a better woman make says yoda. her face is very soft already so you've got a good start on the boy thing. i'm not sure if big eyebrows are a race characteristic, but they do lend more toward male appearances. sorry for the yoda thing, it just popped up and i couldn't make it go away. Thanks for the comments! [emoticon] Yes, it's a race characteristics to have -thick long eyebrows- (check out official Night elf artworks in Worldofwarcraft.com, even some artworks feature night elf women with really thick and long eyebrows) [emoticon] It's also my intended to have her look quite boyish/manly, and not outwardly show she's a female as well. Storywise, she has been able to pass through as a man easily and has been thought as a 'boy/man' since young. Plus being a tomboy, I don't think she gives a damn about plucking or shaving her eyebrows haha xD (Think of those 'burly' women haha)

It's difficult for me to not have the long eyebrows 'transclucent' through the hair. While I dislike people drawing 'transclucent' hair passing through eyes/eye brows myself, for a night elf's case, it's hard due to their loooong eyebrow appearances. It would be awkard to draw it 'hidden' or 'bent eyebrows' among the fringe. It's just some of aesthetics and making it look good. I do try to get the hair out of the way in one of my artworks of her (in my gallery too). Anyway, it's just a sketch so alot of things need refinement. Sorry for the long reply, but just explaining and justifying my picture. Thanks once again!

just thought about something else, you could try not drawing in the brows obscured under the hair too.

hmm Actually I think if you where to draw the eyebrows as long as they are, they would be laying OVER the hair, so it wouldn't be drawing translucent eyebrows as just having them there..
