Critiques for "Zimmie: Blazing Tempest"

Cool, very stylized and bright. A bit of proportional problem regarding how thin the arm is compared to the body, but it's all good. Can I ask why does she have "brain" on her shoulder?

That's probably because I redrew that arm too much and I said screw it. As for why that's on her shoulder, it would probably make more sense if you knew there are several symbols on her lol they're more like characteristics I guess you could say. It used to be a kanji for 'will power' but certain storyline problems made me change it.

Very, VERY nice. The arm is a little skinny around the elbow, but other than that, I love it. Your attention to cel-shading is especially well-done. My favourite part would have to be the hair. It's so crisp and 'anime'. ^-^

That arm has gone to hell and back XD I've redrawn it so many times that I'm done with it. Might be because I had to use my arms for reference at one point and I have really thin wrists x__x I'm glad you like the hair, it's supposed to be very anime like. Some people have given me flack that hair should really be thinned out but my style doesn't really suit a more realistic look. I've tried it before and I didn't like it -sigh-

Isolating clouds in the cloud filter also makes cool fire- but it's better for fire clouds than a shaper version like this. (I used one in the background for this if you're interested what the filter looks like in the end)

Yeah I've used that filter before, heh. Not really something I wanted for this picture though. Needed more of actual fire than fiery clouds ^^ She's the goddess of fire so it fits LOL XD That and I like the black to give it that bit of contrast.
