Critiques for "Unnamed Characters Take 2"

this is a very sensitive piece. I really like their poses. You are really capturing a romantic moment here. I have to say that the background really isn't working. It's way too harsh and you are trying to capture a very sensitive moment. Did you do the background in MS Paint? i think it's better just to leave it white or have someone else do a background for you.

Believe me, I KNOW what you are saying about the back ground hun. But this is the color Brethesen wanted for it. I don't know why. So I do as the master tells me too. I wanted to make it an outdoors thing, but NOOO! He wanted me to leave them inside. *huffs* Ah well. At least the blades are up to standard. Thank you for the wonderful advice Susie.

The poses on this one is better. There's a lot of passion going on here and I very much like how you have her leaning on him its very romantic. The blades are terrific and that is one sexy dress she has on there. Great job Kristy!

Thanks so much hun. You hsould thank Brethesen too for giving me such awesome characters to work with. I am going to re-do the background though because neither of us is happy with it. But it is what the master requested so I had to oblige. But I am glad that he now sees that it doesn't really fit with the characters. I will see what I can do as far as the bg goes. Wish me luck.

I like this a lot! The poses are very well done, and yea... the background's kinda ick for the mood portrayed. Maybe if it was a softer gray, or another soft color, I don't quite agree with it being white...

Wow! Thank you. What an awesome compliment. If you look again, I have since changed the back ground. I made it a little softer. It is definitely NOT gray. It is still kind of dark like my master (Brethesen) wanted it but it is nicer to look at now. The funny thing is that it took longer to piece the back ground together than to draw the characters! Ah, well, anyway please let me know what you think of the new back ground. Please?

I love this piece, as the others have said, it's quite romantic, her dress is quite sexy, and the blades are phenominal. It stinks ya gotta re-do the BG. But ah, well, a paint spray can isn't working TOO well with the mood of this as the others have said. What if perhaps you tried putting a window off to the side, and made it night outside. It's still indoors, and then it gives a romantic view of the night outside. Well, whatever you decide upon, I'm sure it will work out. Luv yas

Oh my goodness... I think you will get along great with Brethesen, the guy I did this for. Yes, I am sure he would like her to be nude too. He has a thing for boobs. These are a couple of his characters from his story he is writing and he was nice enough to let me draw them. ^_^ So I must share the credit with him.

Why thank you dear. This is actually a drawing that I did for Brethesen of his characters from his fanfic he has up on Red Curtain. She looks a bit like Bulma to me though with the blue hair. >_< And you really like the dress? I usually have such a hard time coming up with designs for clothes.
