Critiques for "Maes Hughes Final"

Ah glad to see that you finished this. It turned out very cool I like the texturing on his coat and the photo of the little girl in the back. It's made of cuteness XD

The anime is alot shorter, and most prefer that to the manga (Most cause Archer is in that one- Archer is a crazy bastard XD )- I like the manga also thoguh, cause it delves alot deeper into Edward's Dad- he's a really interesting character. Do finish it though, cause its VERY cool And Maes is awesome ^^

Very cool work. I especially love how smoothly you could shade his face, I always fail at that in class. And Hughes is an awesome character <3

Oh- that's mostly careful use of a blending stub XD If I didn't use that, I'd be washing my hands every 10 seconds :3 They give a nice light tone which is sometimes all it needs. You can't see some of my blending though cause its what the scanner ends up destroying in the scanning process T.T It's so sad...

Aww, I love that he is holding pictures of his wife and daughter. Nice work.

He's not really holding them, but I thought it was a nice background image since he loved them so much ^^ He's such a family man ^^

Oh very ^^ I couldn't have a picture of Maes in formal without Maes' wonderful heart in the background cuddling his adorable daughter and wife ^^ The movie saddened me a little though how the Earth version was. It really depressed me. I can't imagine Maes as anything but a wonderful guy ^^

Yeah, the movie ticked me off on a couple things---but I agree I guess everyone's alternate universe version of themselves is a shocker. Although.......his death/sweet personality in the series makes sense now that I saw the movie.

I think that's what they wanted- polar opposite... but they kinda got the Elric brothers a little weird cause they didn't change personalities. They were so similar, yet so different... I donno- I kinda wish they were a little more random about the changes between the worlds. It was nice to do the fangirl sight see through the movie though Spot the characters ^^

i think this is just beautiful, i love the linework.
