I dunno ... I ... kind of like him in color ... [emoticon] [emoticon] [emoticon]

Then again, I love the Joker ANYWAY, mostly for his unrivaled creepy, gruesome style in general. So that just means you captured the creep very well indeed. [emoticon] Especially for the B:tAS version, which was much more light-hearted than the Comic version (nonetheless, they did an AMAZING job of capturing the spirit of the Comic-version Joker within the restrictions of keeping it kid-friendly, and B:tAS Joker has a special place in my heart).

But enough with my dorking-out over here. Focusing in on the technique and artistic make-up of the piece. Again, you did a great job with this coloring-style! I really think it just works out so nicely with your line-art; perhaps because of the smooth quality combined with the crisp edge to the line-art? I also picked up on your putting the shadow in the background on this one - I think it worked out great! Brought out the creepiness-factor a bit more, actually ... but in a good way. Oh. AND the pose= [emoticon] .

Now, getting down to the nitty-gritty of it. As I just remarked (a minute or so ago) on your Riddler piece, the same possibly-maybe-not-issue with the lapel is there. However, moving beyond technicalities of fashion, the detailing around the crotch of the pants is throwing me off ever-so-slightly (not trying to be awkward when saying that, but, I know from personal experience that it can prove to be a problematic area). His left arm - the one facing us - is a little bit too thick, I think, also. On that note, the detailing on the arms and shoulders are fantastic, as far as the folds in the jacket go - however, perhaps there may be a bit more wrinkling near the bottom of the jacket? Just a minor observation, though. Not absolutely sure on that one.

But I think that's about it, that I can see right now. Great job with the motion on this one, too - the flow of motion is uniformly excellent. And on a final, final, FINAL note: You did a great job with that bomb. Lol. I don't know why that wows me so much, but, the lit-fuse and the way you warmed the lighting in the area around it just looks great. x3

oh how i adore your critiques. Lol i believe that the Btas version of joker was the by far the best incarnation, because well he was like say the Burger King--very funny and uber creepy and disterbing all at the same time. My only problem with the comic book incarnations is that every book explores only one side of his character and don't focus on him as a whole.

Alright enough with my ranting, so lets get down to business. Well i'm glad you've noticed, i'll admit that lapel is wrong, but i remeber seeing it on the 'proper' british suits with tails(the ceramonial ones) and i just flatout like it more, so there XD.

i'm finding that it's hard to color the Btas style because the characters are slightly disproportioned as in wide sholders, wide upper arms and long lower bodies, a kind of very sleek art style. I tried not to make too many folds because he never has very many in Btas. To be honest i haven't really figured out where the middle ground is here.
