Critiques for "Zarbon at the beach"

Lovely picture hon ^^ He looks very disgruntled that he's getting his 'picture' taken XD

I think I'll do one for the next theme- I'm rushed to finish off my poster by this weekend- need to get it into the printers ASAP. Next week I can spare a pic ^^ Specially now my tablet seems fixed again After not working for a year, all the darn thing wanted was to be recalibrated XD Just my luck....

Yeah you can still do it. the box for adding to the summer gallery wont be there but when you post it, let me know and i can add it to the group for you.

Oh hang on- I think I miss understood you. The theme is for 1 week each month? I thought there was a theme every week ^^; Lol. My bad

if it starts to get popular enough and we build up enough theme ideas we can do it every week, but right now lets stick to once a month.

I've started a thread to see if a RC specific version of this is an interesting idea to people I hope you don't mind ^^

Human bodies are tricky, but considering Zarbon isn't really a human you would probably get away with anything xD No seriously though, this is incredible. I love the soft light on him. It makes the picture look silky and smooth. Wonderful work!

This is gorgeous! I love your art style (having lurked around before, and having browsed your gallery just now) and Zarbon is a gorgeous character so...I suppose it's no surprise the two go well together. I am particularly in love with how the warm yellowish color that's accenting his hair contrasts with the cool purplish color that's accenting his body. It's a brilliant match, and really brightens this work up.

Thanks for the comments. I didn't even realize I had used purple and yellow. That was totally dumb luck that I was playing with complementary colors lol.
