Critiques for "Generations Bit 2 WIP"

The back needs to curve around more. The face looks a little digruntled for the pose too- that may just be me though ^^;

Susie, this is looking awesome! And I think the sword pointing upwards is a nice compositional feature...maybe not worth pointing downward? But give it a try, see how it looks. And I love the way you've wrapped the cape around him like that; billowing out around him, mimicking his hair...Can't wait to see this finished. It sounds like you're enjoying your class too, and that makes all the difference.

yeah this class is turning out to be a lot of fun. maybe i'll keep the sword up but find a way to push the legs up higher instead.

I've always loved how you draw your figures, they're always so graceful-looking. But this guy's arms look a little thick for his body. I think maybe you should give the rest of him a little more muscle. But I love the cloak and the sword so far. Maybe instead of pointing the sword down, you could have him pointing it forward toward you; his pose doesn't really seem right for pointing the sword down. But that's just me ^^'
