Critiques for "Green Jungle"

Wow that's really nice! It's got a really nice atmospheric feel to it. That's some sweet work.

It is a good painting! I like the harmony between the colors: you will take to me for somebody of strange, but this atmosphere points out to me the mysterious forests of an anime called "Mononoke Hime."

Did you just compare me to the artists that work for Miyazaki's studio Gibli?!! *sweeeak* Heh.... No, I'm okay. I'm very flattered that my painting would evoke such a memory. Mononoke Hime is a great film with beautiful animation and that you would affectionatley compare my work to it makes me blush. Thank you. ^_^'

OK, this is driving me crazy so I have to ask about it. I can see a face put together by the trees, I see the eye as being made by the branch on the left about a quarter of the way down from the top. Should I check myself into a mental institute or can anyone else see it as well? Oh and this is truly beautiful Silverbane so don't think I'm just interested in my imagened image.

I love it. "I hated it. Naturally I produced some of my best painterly work." It's just the truth. I'm not an artist, I'm a writer, but I can say that I see the beautiful detail in all the shades of green. I love it.
