Critiques for "Lucien in pencil"

OHH, thats awesome.. i tried to draw with pencil(i bought an 8B too O_o) but i cant use just one color XD

I suppose it's what your use to. I like the feel, texture and contrast at drawing with graphite. Its everyone to their own really. I learnt with only pencil. I was ages into drawing before I got semi descent pencils...

Great drawing! How long did it take? I love the shadows on his face and the texture. I like his expression.^^

I don't know how long it took O.o Umm... I was at a convetion drawing this one too, so I would've been interupted every few minutes with people watching me and asking questions. I couldn't answer that sorry ^^; I could guess at a few hours?

I can understand them. It's always interesting to watch an artist at work, for me at least.
