Critiques for "Wind blown Bryan"

Yeah that's really cool! Just out of curiosity, did you use reference for it? And if so, where did you get the reference?

See, that's a funny one. For alot of it, I did use a referance. Like the armour, and some areas of the face. I got sick and tired of trying for exact that day though, that I changed s@#$ loads of stuff in the pic, and turned it into one of my characters. It use to be Heath Leager from Knight's Tale. I didn't like his frown, sadened eyes, and you couldn't see much of his hair. Most of the correcting features I played by ear. It helps alot to go off a pic now and then to remind you how the face actually looks ^^ That, and I was feeling really crap that day and needed something I could put alot of effort into Glad you like it!

Ummm- I didn't write in the comments that I was origanally drawing Heath, got bored and turned it into Bryan? ^^; Whoops- um, did it for my Deviantart account, but not here obviously. Yeah. It was MEANT to be Heath, but my hand got bored and drew Bryan. Heath had a sour puss look on his face in the picture anyways I only used his pose, armour and lighting in this picture though. The rest is off the top of my head ^^

This is a realy well done piece. I like the expression you put on him kinda serene to me for some reason. And you did an excellent job on the armor and hair.

Wow... Yes, this was definitely worth the time and effort. I was scrolling through your pictures, and came to this - and stopped dead in my tracks. I love the look in his eyes - hard, but kind at the same time. It's a tough mix to get right, and I think you have.

He's had a difficult life- which is where his hardened expressions come from. He was brought up in a distopia world where his grandfather- the high king hated him, and concequently, as did the followers. Only love he got was his father. In the story, the world is taken over by evil, and his father murdered in front of his face. Think Trunks saga from DBZ for the rest. Without the happy ending. There's no going back for Bryan. *Single timeline universe *

Heh... People are going to hate me, but I've never seen DBZ nor do I have -any- channels.. and quite honestly, I don't like watching television at all.

Poor guy. Sounds like he's been through a tough time.

A lot of people I meet tend to get it when I say that. basically, he goes back in time to correct the future, but Trunks gets to go bad and fix his future. Bryan doesn't.
