Critiques for "Flash Advert"

Looks good. I like the head allot, and the color choices. He looks like he's jogging thou, maybe lean him foward more. Looking at your art gave me an idea. What about rather than a symbol you give him SCallops like a vintage hot rod. If you don't know what that its like the flames they put on the hood but these are lines. Simular to the speed lines in manga.

FLAMES! Now that's an idea! *huggles* That screams fas without using lightning ^^ Not sure what your example is, but please don't find it for me- I'll come up with a symbol that is like Flash's but with flames Fire is right up my alley! Heheh... As for him jogging- the pic had to be a 1:3 ratio. I COULDN'T make him look like he was running. Not side on like he wanted. I've e-mailed it to the guy though- if he has any problems, I'll just redraw it. Once I gave in to the jog, sketching it up wasn't a problem. It's the size that held me back really...

Well, when your done I hope you take hime and do a piece with him the way you want.

I agree with WildeKarde. He looks more like he's jogging or posing than running fast. I hate to say that though because you've already gone so far with the drawing.

Not really- I can redraw it, but I can't make him look like he's running fast cause of the sizing the guy wants. Even a little more width would do wonders. I can't get the lean that makes him look like he's running

Yeah- I nearly e-mailed him saying I was going to do it going forward, but that went against his specifications. I'm just going to have to give a faster illusion insteed *sigh* The first is always the most difficult ^^;
