World War II Thingieby DollmakerLibraries: Angst, Drabbles, Blurbs, Free Writes, Drama, Gothic, Original FictionPublished on May 9, 2006 6:43 am / 1 Chapter(s) / 3 Review(s)Updated on May 9, 2006 6:43 amI wrote this for a History Assignment - we were supposed to "write an outline for a chapter of a book arguing whether or not Hitler would have continued fighting if France and Britain had denied his demands during the Munich Conference." However, I was in the moment, and this is what I came up with. |

A Man of Darknessby DollmakerLibraries: Poetry and Song LyricsPublished on Mar 20, 2006 7:29 am / 1 Chapter(s) / 7 Review(s)Updated on Mar 20, 2006 7:29 amWell...believe it or not, this poem is based on a joke. I used to think my algebra teacher was trying to brainwash his students, and everyone thought I was crazy. And...well, I wrote a poem about it. So, in a way, it's dedicated to my Algebra 1 teacher, Mr. Tedesco. ^.^;; |

Adoption Centerby DollmakerLibraries: Poetry and Song LyricsPublished on Mar 17, 2006 6:57 am / 1 Chapter(s) / 20 Review(s)Updated on Mar 17, 2006 6:57 amThis was the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote this to enter in a Neopets (I'm a member, yes) poetry contest. I lost, but everyone I know was so moved by the poem that I decided to keep it and direct it to Adoption Centers in general, and not just the Neopets one. :) Hope you like! |

The girl with the ratby DollmakerLibraries: Poetry and Song LyricsPublished on Mar 17, 2006 6:53 am / 1 Chapter(s) / 8 Review(s)Updated on Mar 17, 2006 6:53 amAs is turns out, the little rat was really a gerbil. Before the girl (I believe her name is Amanda) left the park, she walked over to me and we broke out in a light conversation. I had met her before, and she told me that she was a practitioner of witchcraft, and she and her friend, Jessica, had tried turning themselves into cats, or, that’s what they told me. They also seemed very interested in the tarot deck I had brought with me the day I first met them. I tried to incorporate the whole story into my poem, and I think I did a halfway decent job. This author’s note is simply to tie up loose ends. And no, the gerbil did not think it was a cat, the girl did. |

The Boyby DollmakerLibraries: Poetry and Song LyricsPublished on Mar 16, 2006 7:45 am / 1 Chapter(s) / 4 Review(s)Updated on Mar 16, 2006 7:45 amThis poem...I kinda feel bad writing about, because I ripped off the idea from some other poem I had read in a book with a whole bunch of Teen Poetry. I didn't plagerize! Don't get me wrong, I just kinda...stole the general idea of the poem and made it my own. :( I hope no one hates me for it. You'll probably hate me for having a longer summary than the poem itself is, though. o.O |
