Oekaki back online
Dec 26, 2007 11:11 pm by BogusRed
Well it looks like the server move back in November caused the oekaki to break. Sorry about that. Thank you to nomonkey for alerting me to the problem. It has now been fixed. I don't understand why no one told me about this problem sooner.
Please people, if you see something not working, let me know and I will fix it asap. I hate finding out that something hasn't been working right for over a month.

I'm having trouble with the oekaki. I'm not sure if it's me, my browser (Firefox 2.0.0.11), or the site. I continually get the error message, "Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error."
I've restarted Firefox and uninstalled/reinstalled Java but to no real avail. Have I messed it up? xD;

Hi Chief Icy Sunset,
I'm unable to reproduce that error on my end and I'm running the same version of Firefox that you are.
This is just a wild guess but I wonder if it could be a FF plugin/add on you have. Try disabling all of your addons, then restarting FF.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling firefox. I think you did the right thing in reinstalling Java. I would have tried that first too.
If none of that works, try clearing your cookies and cache/temporary internet files. Sometimes residual data can cause unexplainable behaviors in browsers.

I'll try all that and hopefully, it'll smooth itself out. Thanks much for the feedback. ^^
If it keeps giving me trouble, I'll drop you a line again.

I disabled the add-ons and restarted FF but that didn't help. My computer then decided to get super slow to spite my efforts, so I restarted it.
And lo and behold, the oekaki seems to be working again. I guess it was a problem with my computer, then. Sorry for the trouble. xD;;
