This blog will be primarily about my art but also little personal things about me. My life completely impacts my art so the two go hand in hand. I hope people get a better understanding of my art through this blog as well as being informed of new art, upcoming projects and new products.

 There is something about the start of a new year that makes the air feel like there is magic in it. Excitement crackles like electricity. Perhaps it is the newness, the possibilities or the fact that we get to start over. Everyone deserves a fresh start, to learn from mistakes and work toward their future. So tonight when this year expires and a new one is welcomed in with fanfare and kisses, I would like to wish you a fresh start and a the hope of a new beginning.  This new year I do have some goals I want to focus on. I am really looking forward to meeting tasks head on, improving my art and expanding my business into the best it can be. We have come a long way since we started with a little card table at a local show (we had 10 prints and a bucket of buttons) (remember Shane you where there) but we still have farther to go, more things to achieve and new levels to rise to.  I want to thank you all for your kind words, encouragement and appreciation over this year. My friends and fans keep me going when art is hard, sales are down and inspiration doesn't seem to be coming. Thank you all for your support and friendship. It all means the world to me. I have a feeling that 2009 is going to be a big one and I can't wait to get started. Hi Everyone,

I am adding new necklaces to ETSY as we speak.I only have a few and one of each kind so I thought I would put them on there instead of the site. I think I have around 12 made at the moment. I want to see how well these do before I invest in large quantities and fancy trappings for them.

They are pretty neat glass hinged photo pendants. The artwork is 1.5 in by 1.5 in and they are signed and dated by me. I can add a personalization to them as well if you wish.

Hi Everyone,

As my web hosting has switched over I have a new mailing list. To everyone on my list already you should have gotten an email about a special sale yesterday. If you did NOT please check your spam folder. I am not sure what the deal with this is as a LOT of messages bounced back. If you are on my list and did not get a mail AND it isn't in your spam filter let me know. I am trying to fix everything ASAP. I guess nothing is ever really y seamless so sorry for that.

Lately I have been so easily tired. It is hard to get anything done but I am sure trying. I have lots to do today it is just a matter of staying energized and motivated. My new necklaces are FINISHED!! They are totally awesome AND I will be putting them on ETSY soon. They are beautiful glass lockets, I can even personalize the back for you. I have 6 blank lockets left and I think I am going to let these be CUSTOM necklaces. You get to pick the ribbon and accent color AND the art that goes inside. I will be posting details about that soon.

2009 figurines will be decided in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

Hi Everyone,

I am back to work since Steven is back home safe and sound in Scotland. I already miss his terrible jokes!! All my orders shipped this morning. I reordered some candles so they will be in stock by the beginning of November.

I am having a 1/2 price print sale. That is right! all my 8.5x11 prints are 6.00 order as many as you like. I am going to be changing my prints a little in the new year and I want to clear out all old stock. I will be retiring a LOT of work this year as well. I just feel like I have leveled up and some things don't reflect the direction I am going in anymore. I am going to be adding products to the site and revamping all sorts of things so stay tuned!

I have some neat stuff in the works for you including new print sizes and products!

Oh and I am feeling sculpty so if anyone wants a baby dragon, gryphon, unicorn, cat or bunny email me

Hello everyone,

This is going to be my last journal entry until after Faeriecon. I pick Steven up at the airport tomorrow and Friday morning we leave for Philly. Steven is staying a week with me so I don't think I will have a ton of time for LJ or anything like that. I NEED a break anyway. Yesterday I made some neat hairpieces for some of my costumes for the show and ball. I really like them! I will post all sorts of pictures later. My costumes take up so much ROOM! My suitcase is full...darn floofy fairy finery.

I wanted to let you all know I am in the Morbidly Adorable booth with Misty. Booth 1816. For some reason despite numerous corrections Faeriecon simply left me out of any and all listings. Yes I am going and yes I have a booth! I should be there a lot of the time but I am sure I will be goofing off with Steven and Brigid Ashwood.

I also am doing 2 signings while I am there at the Tate and Company booth!!!

Saturday at 5pm
Sunday at 1 pm

Come on by!

Oh and all orders received AFTER tomorrow at 3 pm will be processed and shipped Friday October 17th.

I am steadily working on my Halloween piece called the Witching Hour. I am hoping to have it finished by this evening so that I can have prints ready to take to Harvest Festival tomorrow!!

I will be in Greenbelt Maryland Tomorrow for the Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival, October 5th from 10 am to 5 pm on the Roosevelt Center, Greenbelt, Md.

Johnnie, Cezar and I will be there with my latest fantasy paintings, new products AND you get first crack at everything I am taking to Faeriecon, including our Framed Prints AND Matted Archival prints a lot of which we only have ONE of each type. I have some beautiful new matted archival prints of my Striped Socks painting as well as Sea Spray, Phoenix Moon and a ton of others. I have very limited quantities of my retiring figurines which will be there too. Whisper and Mephe are GONE!! We only have a few left of Jay the Vulture, and Dante and Fluffy the dragons. Hope to see you there!!!

I am sure tomorrow evening I will tell you guys all about the show and hopefully have enough energy for a video blog!
