Animation Mash-up
Mash-ups are always great, it's fun to see our favorite characters re-imagined.
That's why PaperDemon.com is presenting to you the animation mash-up contest.
Re-imagine your favorite American cartoon characters as if they were anime characters
and vise versa. What would Pikachu look like if Disney illustrated him, well here's
our chance to find out!
Contest rules
Re-imagine any American cartoon character into an anime character
or you can re-imagine any anime character as an American cartoon.
3 submissions per person, original work only.
A panel of judges will select three winners after reviewing all the submissions.
The panel of judges are TBD
To enter the contest simply reply to the forum post with a link to your submission
Deadline
All submissions are due September 10, 2012
Prize
1st place will receive an invitation to participate as one of the judges in the next contest and receive a 1 year PaperDemon.com premium membership.
2nd place will receive a 6 month PaperDemon.com premium membership.
3rd place will receive a 3 month PaperDemon.com premium membership.

I have a question - When you say "American" cartoons, do they have to be specifically from America, or can they just be western-styled cartoons? Like this? www.deponia.de (notice that the characters are western-styled cartoons, but not actually from America, and this is a game, not a cartoon)

Western style is ok. Doesn't have to be specifically from America.

Okay so I don't know about time-wise. Since it's still only 11:30 here. So sorry if this is technically posted on 8/15 where you are....I didn't even find out about this contest until approx. 3 hours ago, and managed to quickly throw this together.
