The funny folks at PaperDemon Media are working on a new web animated series. It's a parody of various anime and video games.

We're looking for artists who can draw digital backgrounds for the series. I will pay $25-55 per background depending on the complexity of the shot. Payment is 50% after we approve your sketch and another 50% after final artwork is completed. I will send payments via Paypal. You must be able to color and ink digitally with Adobe Photoshop and be comfortable working with layers. Sketching on paper and importing with a scanner is ok.

You will not need to draw any characters. Though if you are interested in helping with character design, we're open to that.

If you are interested, please send an email to bogusred+pdm@paperdemon.com with a link to your portfolio. Please also include information about your availability for work. As in, roughly how many backgrounds do you think you could produce per week and for how many weeks or months you think you could commit to working on the show.

Is this still open? Do you still need people? I mostly use illustrator, but I can work with photoshop. The backgrounds I can do in either adobe illustrator or adobe photoshop. I am currently using the Adobe CS5.5 suites.

Anticia. Sorry for my late reply. I've sent you an email. We currently have booked all the artists we need. I'll update this thread when we're looking for artists again.

We're now looking for additional artists. Our production has picked up and we have more work than our current pool of artists can take on. Payment is $25-55 per background depending on background complexity.

We're also looking for flash animators and vector artists who can do character sprites.
