New Forum

It didn't take as long as I thought but I've finally completed the new forum. It works seemlessly with the rest of the site. The old forum sucked because you had to have a seperate account just for the forum that didn't work with the other parts of the site. Now everything works together.

Unfortunately, because of how different the forums are, all the old posts aren't on the new forum. I could take the time to convert them all but I'm not sure if it would be worth my time.

This new forum doesn't have all of the neat features of the old forum such as smilies. I'll introduce smilies into the site at a later time. Until then, enjoy the new forum.

It's possible there are still a few kinks left. If you find something not working right, let me know.

Also let me know if there are any new forum areas you want created such as Anime, Music, etc.

There are only about 20 right now but I'll add more within the next few days.

I'm having problems with the cookie data for the forum. It's what tells the forum what posts are new and old for the logged in user. I'll have to fix it in a few days after I finish with other projects.

About two weeks ago I removed the cookies and changed it so that it marks all posts as "new" that were made after the last time you logged in. Later I may make it so that you can "mark posts as read" and stuff like that. But I don't have the time to program it right now.
