Images in Signatures

I was just curious about siggy-pics.  Are they allowed, and if so, how big are they allowed to be?  I have one, and it ISN'T that big (I think it's something like 384x150, but I'm not sure.  I'll check it out and get back to you), and I would love to use it here, IF it's permissible.  Please let me know, okay?  I didn't see a topic on the matter, and I was just curious.

We currently don't have any rules regarding signature pics. But I'd say anything that isn't overly obtrusive. 384x150 is probably alright. I'd have to see it in action though. I should probably create a rule about signature pics. Signatures appear underneath comments too so something that isn't wider than the width of the comments would be good. Go ahead and put the picture in your signature and I'll let you know if it's too big.

Okay, thankies for the heads-up, BR.  I'll probably got fetch it from my Photobucket account and post it before my library comp-time runs out.  I DO have a couple of smaller ones, though.  So IF my "Undercover TMNT" (fome the 2003 series, Season 1) is too big, I can always use one of the others.

Oh, and changing the title of the thread is just fine with me.  You can even "sticky" it til you come up with a siggy-pic thread of you own if you want to.  I won't mind in the least if you do.  Feel free to.

EDIT: Minor question here, though: How the hairy heck do I edit my siggy?!  Where do I go, I mean?  I'm having a slight problem in getting to the "Edit Signature" Option.  Heeeeelllllppppppppp!!!!!

EDIT Part Two: Okay, I've got the URL for my siggy up, but the pic ITSELF isn't showing up!  What the HECK am I doing WRONG here?!  BR, anybody, HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

Just puting the url of the image isn't going to work. You need to enter HTML code to have the image display. Here's how:

• Go to the edit signature page
• delete http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v81/Whitewolf89/MNTGaidenCastSig.jpg
• Click on Source in the editor. This takes you to html mode
• Enter the following text

• Click Submit

Oh, and I tried using my "TMNTUndercover" siggy-pic, but the thing wouldn't let me.  Said it was too long.  It's like 384-whatevers long, so I guess it didn't work.

Ah, well, I'm gonna let it be for a day or two.  I'm just too upset and nervous to do anything like this right now.  I need to get my nerves (to say NOTHING of my lousy temper!) calmed back down.  So I'll re-try it later, okay?  Okay.

Looks like the file location is incorrect. perhaps there's supposed to be a T in there where it says MNTGaidenCastPicSig.jpg

Please check to make sure the image location is correct.
