Alrighty! I think we all know the rules by now, so I'll get right down to business! I love vikings and Norse / Germanic mythology, and according to my profile that's all I ever do.
I do like a few other things, though.
Video Games: Rune Viking Warlord, Rune Halls of Asgard, Ragnarok Online, Baldur's Gate, Zelda, Drakan
Comics: Thorgal (German comic about vikings), Ragnarok (manga), Prince Valiant
NO sprite comics (sorry Keen)!!
Movies: The Vikings, Prince Valiant, The 13th Warrior, Blood of Beasts (a really crappy viking movie but still amusing)
What I'd like to see most is an illustration based on Norse mythology or Icelandic literature (sagas, epics, etc.).
Poetry: Norse poetry has a very distinctive style, and many of the sagas have poetry in them. So if you can learn how to write in that style I'd appreciate that. Of course any poem about raiding, pillaging, and putting people to fire and sword would be awesome.

Well there's about a week and a half left and I'd really appreciate it if someone would do something. If no one does anything, there won't be anymore contests; no more Golden Wings, and that wouldn't be cool.
So if someone would bust out some paper and a pencil (or whatever), and draw me some Norse mythology, that would be awesome, and I will gladly submit artwork for them when they become the Golden Wing. So let's go.

That's cool, Keen. I'm glad you're in this. Maybe you could write a Halo-spirited story but paste vikings in there instead (minus laser guns of course), hehe.

Great timing for me to come back, huh guys? I'm so sorry- I should have at least checked up on some stuff. It's sad to see this die, but it was rather demanding. And it was mostly regular members working on it anyway, when the object was to get less prominent members involved. Ah well, back to the drawing board! ... I honestly didn't see that pun coming. *is utterly distracted by hail outside the window*
