I'm pretty disturbed right now. Maybe you all in the states heard about the school shooting in Virginia, where some psycho killed 33 people and injured many more.
That's fucked up. I'm praying for all the victims that were involved with that. Seems only in America we have people that snap like that. Was he just not loved enough as a kid or what? I haven't heard of anything like that abroad, and in America it seems school shootrs are coming around with more and more frequency.
The tough part is no one really thinks those people would do that until it's too late. All those that died had such high aspirations and goals, too.
This guy, Cho, had all this hate for 'rich kids,' but if he can afford to go to college with them, he must be pretty wealthy as well, or his family anyway.
This just sucks hardcore, and I'd like to request that wherever you are reading this, bow your head in silent vigil to honour those that were slain.

If you stand still, nothing will happen. But, if you take even a step forward, I have a feeling something will change. And, something good will happen!

It's something that happens everywhere; we're keenly aware of it because we're living here in the U.S.
It was strange; Tuesday I was sitting at a bus stop on campus, waiting for the bus to finally come around, and just began counting. Random people walking by, going across the street, talking with friends...I counted to 33 and was overwhelmed; these were the kinds of people that were killed. Young people with hope and prospect, some ready for graduation and a new career, others just starting out, figuring what they might want to do with themselves. It really brought the entire tragedy into perspective; I'm just sick for all the families, including the family of the killer. They're all in need of such support and love right now...As a college community I think it's important we show support for one another, as a part of a larger higher education family.
I'm praying for everyone involved and hope that some day soon the pain will lessen and lives will be able to move forward again.

As I sat in school this monday two tragedies happened. First, my uncle Jason Lyle died in the hospital after they took him off life support. He was put in the hospital after a drug overdose and they knew he couldnt be saved.
Second, The Virginia Tech shootings. That bastard Cho had no right because of rich kids or his bad history. His parents were obviously sadistic nitwits and would let him buy whatever he wanted like guns or knives. If you're gonna buy some damn firearm and you dont have a real reason or anything from a cop that says you can, it just aint worth kill yourself and 32 other humans for a bad childhood and snobs of parents.
EVEN THE STRONGEST HAVE FALLEN, BUT THE STRONGER YOU ARE, THE EASIER IT IS TO GET BACK UP!

It seems that people what to talk about this like the boy was sane when he shoot all those people. He hinted off something was wrong with him, he was ignored, he put some holes in people. That's what you get when you ignore a problem.

So you're saying its everyone elses fault for not predicting that he would shoot everyone? I don't agree with that in the least. I think its his responsibility. He's an adult. If he thinks he needs help he should go talk to a professional counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist.

Saying "he should go talk to a professional counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist." is rather useless now.
I'm not saying it was predictable. The thing about being psyco is you usually don't know you are. They said that he displayed unusual behavoir ,and did express some hate ,or something like that, and they did say the signs were ignored ,as well. If you're gonna ignore something that means NOT talking about it. If you get you capped just get capped. You shouldn't have ingored it.
You never know when someone will snap. If the person doesn't seek help, they must not think something is wrong with them so they continue as they are. Then one day Tommy walks in with more WMDs then Bush can dream of, and wants some blood. Even if it wasn't your fault someone has to die. People die anyway, so no difference to me.
