Thanks cool. I have alot more characters, but I haven't encountered any songs that are *theirs* The only I've listed TOTALY discribed the characters listed- except maybe Alex's. I'm not totally convinced on adreniline. The other three are those characters totally

hehehe, that´s quite funny.
i thought i was the only one having special songs for characters/scenes.

i´m collecting always "musicalic psychoprofiles" of the characters, because one song is definitively not enough - especially for my writings. there are certain songs that fits to certain scenes, so i collect them all.

music is a huge influence for my creativity. some songs are simply inspiring, and some songs are simply fitting for characters. i´m glad that i´m not the only one who´s thinking that. LOL

well, as far as it for ryler wakefield, my main character, muse and sexy beast goes:

Elliot Goldenthal - Libera Me
Stone Sour - Cardiff
Freudiana - I Am The Mirror
and last, but now least:
Pet Shop Boys - Sexy Northener.

I always make special character soundtracks for my OCs. It helps me to write specific scenes with them and explore their personalities. Which reminds me that I need to do that for my characters in my new story Vigilante. Sometimes I even find songs that represent the relationship between characters.

Reilly & Devereau: Within Temptation ft Keith Caputo - What have you done? (They are from my new story)

My Mindhunter characters:
Newt Masters: Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne, Speed Demon by Michael Jackson
Scandal Koyama: Someday by Nickelback, Fast Love by George Michael
And for both of them: All I need by Within Temptation

Those are just a few of the sings I chose and there are other characters still, lol. Those are the most important ones though.

This is so cute. I haven't come up with any mainstream songs for my characters -- when I write I tend to listen to instrumental stuff like movie soundtracks. The titles of the songs that I associate with my characters mean nothing; the music just sounds like them.

Well, I've got two that I'll mention. One OC from my fanfic and the other from my novel.

Shiro (from Seven Feudal Fairy Tales) - King Without a Crown by Matisyahu

Kael (from my novel) - Requiem for a Dream from the Two Towers score (I think...)

At least these are the songs I like to listen to when I'm writing about them. They sort of put me into the mindset of their characters. Shiro's is rather appropriate given his history and current occupation... I hadn't realized it until now [smiley]

ooooooh! fun game!

Remi - "Big Poppa" or "Mastermind" both are by a group called Mindless Self Indulgence (look them up-they're spaz-tastic!)

Kurt - "Stuttering" by Ben's Brother (its soo cute and sheepish-just like him!)

Gene - "Mad World" off the Donnie Darko soundtrack; "Moonlight Sonata"; and that lullaby from Pan's Labyrinth. (Gene ist very sad)

All very great music. I have alot of songs that remind me of their different moods though. Like a calm Remi would be more like a "Hotel California" guy, and a happy/excited Kurt would listen to alot of Flogging Molly. Angry Kurt would listen to Monster Magnet though. Gene stays with the classical music, happy or sad, it just suits her. She's an opera chick. [smiley]

There are only a few that come to mind right now...

Asher I usually associate with "Starlight" by Muse, if just for a few of the lines.
"Far away, this ship has taken me far away.... Starlight, I will be chasing starlight, until the end of my life"

Harvey and Louie get "Wenches and Mead" by Alestorm cause, well, they like wenches and mead.

Malcolm gets another Muse song, Exo-Politics, again for certain lyrics:
"Open the skies over me, I am waiting patiently, I'll wait for a sign"

Pretty much the whole Osprey crew, which includes those listed above, gets "Airship Pirates" by Abney Park. Why? Because they are pirates, and they have an airship. There you go. Hell, while we're at it, they can have most of Alestorm's "Captain Morgan's Revenge" album. Piracy everywhere!

George and Martin, as a couple, get "Partons Vite" by Kaolin. It is a delightful song, and George delights in Martin. Plus, it's in French. Martin's French. They're in Paris.

There are totally others, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

I wouldn't give my OC's one song each. Instead I would pick out a fitting "opening" if my comics where an anime ^^'
