I can't view my stories!

This is kind of bugging me. Everytime I go to view one of my stories or poems or something (just viewing, not editing) I get forwarded to the "You're underage, and can't go into the Red Curtain! Ha ha ha!" Page, which is weird because none of my works are listed as in the Red Curtain.  Help!

I have the same exact problem.  I just never thought of it much since I could go to the public writings section and look at it from there.

Yeah, I've been doing that too, Cheap-O Guy.

All the same, I thought BR would like to know. I'm glad I'm not alone, though.

Thanks for catching this. I've fixed it now. It happened when you are on the page for 'managing' your story and you click the [view] link next to the chapter correct? Next to that link is an [edit] and [delete] links for each chapter.

Please let me know if these were not the links you were clicking. I think it was though because I confirmed that there was a bug there. it was sending everyone to RC for viewing their chapters. I have fixed it. Give it another try and let me know if it works.

Alright, now I can't seem to submit a new story. (I'm just having no luck with this writing nonsense. )

I'm trying submit this new story. I got the summary, and the crit settings, and what libraries it can go under and all that, and I uploaded the file from my documents and it told me the upload was successful. And I got the little "Your story's not published yet! AaaH!"

So, I went to go in to edit things, you know, make sure it all looks okay before I publish it. But...there's no story when I go to view it. So I thought, "Well, I'll publish it. Maybe I can access it that way." So I tried that, but the thing told me that I have to add a chapter first.

Am I just doing something wrong?

There's something wrong with the file you're uploading. Are you sure its in .doc or .html format? We do not accept Word 2007 format yet.

No, it's definately a .doc document.

And I'm using Microsoft '97. I could try html, but will I have to put it in code?
