Cut and Dry, my problem is this: I can't use Oekaki.  I have no idea as to how i can go about this.

First off, my Oekaki canvis doesn't show and actually there is only the size modification on my screen and then the 'ads by google'.  If i change the size of anything it registures the change but refuses to show the canvis.  Also, "If you are not in rememberme mode you may be logged out and lose your....." is present, but i was in remember me mode prior to entering the forums and even if i go back and do it again its still singing the same tune.  Please help, this sucks not being able to use such a great feature! You have just revieved the Aumish computer virus. Now since the aumish don't have computers, it relys on the trust system.  So if you would please be so kind and remove all of the files on your computer.

Thank You

A couple things:

First, the message stating "If you are not in remember me mode..." will always show. So if you know you logged in with 'remember me' turned on then you are good to go. It will show this notice no matter what.

Try clearing your cache and cookies. Every browser is different but there should be some setting for clearing temporary files, cookies, or cache. Once you do this, restart your browser and try the oekaki again. This might fix it.

If that still doesn't work, I'll need some more info from you so I can trouble shoot. can you see any parts of the oekaki applet at all? The applet has a series of buttons such as Upload, Float, Redo, Undo, Fill. Then a section of palettes then the canvas where you draw. Can you possibly take a screenshot and send it to me? You have my email address, I sent to you earlier.

Also please state what browser you are using and what version the browser is. Have you been able to use ShiPainter successfully with this browser on other websites?

Well, i tried the first method and nothing seems to work.  I do not see any part of the applet at all except the size (heigth, width) for both the canvas and the applet and also the 'update oekaki' button and the rest of the site looks normal. i will try to get you a screenshot.

the height and width part are not part of the applet (though it looks like it is, it really isn't). So it seems the applet doesn't load at all. It's possible your browser doesn't support it. The screenshot isn't needed at this point because i know for sure the applet isn't loading at all. Please let me know what browser and version and operating system you are on and I will check to see if its supported. Have you used Shipainter on another site with it working?

And it didn't work on the Laptop with IE7 either? I'll see what I can find out about the applet's compatability with IE7.
