I need with adding chapters to a story could someone please help

Okay I just joined and I was trying to submit a story well I got it to where I have what the storys about but I can't seem to add Chapters so I can't Publish it. Oh and my computer has vista and I don't have MS Word, I have word pad and thats it. Could Someone please help me?

Hi Mikachan. It's possible that when you submitted your story the submission didn't get created correctly because you uploaded a .txt or .rtf format (which are two formats that notepad save in). Unfortunately, our writing submission system does not work with .txt and .rtf formats yet. That's why you are unable to add chapters or publish your writing.

However, you can try a free software called Open Office. It's free to download and works just like Microsoft Word. Try opening your notepad file in Open Office and then doing Save As in the Open Office program. Select Microsoft Word (.doc) format to save it in. Then try resubmitting your writing submission with that file instead. You'll have to delete your first story submission within your account.
