Proposed new Art Aesthetic Concept/Genre galleries from members
This is a list of proposed new Genre art galleries for the PaperDemon side. Please let me know what you think. A simple yay or nay for each one would be good ![[smiley]](http://www.paperdemon.com/images/forum/mysmilies/15pxyellow_smile.gif)
I think for many of the genre gallery requests I will open it up to the community for their input for whether they should be added or not. Some I will reject on the spot and others I will approve on the spot.
I received a lot of library and gallery requests over the last two months. if you do not see your gallery in this list, please check your email because I've probably asked you to provide me with 3 entries for the new library/gallery. I typically do not create a new library/gallery for something unless there are at least 3 entries for it.

I think the proposed genres sound good. There's so much out there, and with heach new member, we're bound to need more genres.

Id still like to see a specific Medieval catagory. I do medieval and fanasy, but I know alot are just medieval.
Maybe a swords and armour catagory to cater for knights (or ladies) in shinning armour.

I could provide you with 3 submissions for the one gallery I requested, but the issue is this...
The gallery shows up in PD submission options, but NOT in RC... I have two PD writing submissions that I was able to add into the Yu Yu Hakusho gallery there, but I am unable to add my RC writing submission to this gallery because it doesn't exist in the Red Curtain... So I don't have 3 RC submissions for the gallery... they need to be in the same side of the site, yes?

The RC catagorys aren't the same as the PD ones. I'm sure Susie has a very good reason for it- probably so that every catagory on both sides has atleast one submission in it before it goes up (ie is usued atleast once)

Yes... they all must have THREE in them, not just one. I'm not complaining, that's a pretty smart system to not have empty galleries... But if I wanted to submit something RC in a gallery that already exists in PD and I have 2 subs in THAT ONE... I have to find 2 more to put into RC before putting something there? It just... seems redundant? When I would have 3 if it crossed over... *sigh*

Sounds like you need to do more writing/drawing I didn't know there had to be three, but it makes sence- she shouldn't have to create a new catagory just for a single picture fanart.

We aren't super strict about the 3 entries. If you know you'll be posting more YuYu Hakusho entries to the Red Curtain, I can add it.
The reason that each side has separate galleries is because of 2 reasons. One, there may be plenty of entries for one anime on one side, but none on the other side resulting in an empty gallery. Two, I don't want the more 'mature' sounding animes and genres appearing on the PD side. For example, I wouldn't want "Erotic Art" appearing on the PD side.

I think the categories sound good myself. As one person said, with each new member you'll find you need new categories. I do have a category request for the fandoms. I can try to find two more images for it, but I know I have one myself and that's for the video game Xenosaga.

TouchedVenus, you can find two entries from other peoples galleries too. So if you only have one entry, just use the search to see if there are others. Also please submit a formal gallery request for the gallery. I have so many requests that its hard to keep track of them if they are in different places. You can submit your request when you submit the artwork entry and are choosing galleries for it. a blue box appears on the lower right with a link to request a gallery. Thanks
