I recently saw that Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity special on Comedy Central last night
I've never laughed that hard in my life
Then there was that part when Jeff brought out that Iraqian skeleton named Achman(is that how it's spelled) Of course I laughed but at the same time I was thinking "Jeff is going to get so much hate death threats in the moring."
Do you think it was offensive that Jeff brought out Achman the Terrorist? Are you afraid that he might be supporting the terrorists? Or was he making fun of the terrorists to prove a point?

Oh, I missed that!!
Well to answer your question - I think it is - what it is. A joke about the state of things in the middle east. Sure it's a touchy subject, but a puppet....if someone where to take it that seriously I might recommend counseling. Oh, and they can change the channel too.

You have a good point and don't worry, Comedy Central will air it again tomorrow night.

That was one of the absolute funniest things that I have seen on T.V. in a LONG time.
But, no. I don't think he was supporting the terrorists. Remember, the Qur'an never said anything about 72 FEMALE virgins. Just 72 virgins. He was poking fun at the terrorist zealots.
To me, that was the funniest part of the show.

Funniest comedian I've seen on Comedy Central in a long while, and it's been a while since I've seen Jeff too. Back then, it was just Peanut and the jalepeno on a stick. Unfortunately the part I found funniest I can't spell out.
Yes, it was the part with the Iraqian skeleton.
And I agree with Silverbane. Funny is what it is.

i asked the same thing. but as long as you made fun of everything. it's not really offensive.
"silence! i kill you" that line cracked me up everytime. peanut is my favorite though.

Achmed the Dead Terrorist got passed around my office, literally, for a week. Within the first ten minutes we were all crying "SILENCE!" (pregnant pause...) "I keel yoo!" Now we use it as a means of expressing frustration when the computer fouls up, we can't find the file, someone gets in a successful jab at another cow-orker, etc.
