I have done a quite realistic portrait of Orlando Bloom as Legolas, it is hand drawn (computer colored) from a photo found on the web,is it allowed to post it here or would it be considdert art stealing/tracing ?
you can see the pic here if you want:

its perfectly fine.justmakesure you put it in the right galleries (portrait, realism,etc.). we aren't that picky about those kinds of things. it doesn't have to be in the computer gen. galleries since you originally did the work by hand.
IT WAS YOU NANA PUDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cruffins - Actually, there is no gallery for computer drawn artwork. It doesn't matter whether the drawing was originally done with traditional media or with the computer. The only time that matters is if its a 3d work, in which case it belongs in 3d Digital or 3d Digital (generated).
Blackwingedangel - be sure that the description of your artwork states that it was based on a photo. We allow artists to post works based on referencing a photo as long as credit is given to the original photo and/or artist. Include a link to the original photo if possible.
Hope you are enjoying PaperDemon.com. Let me know if there's anything I can do to improve your PD experience

grrg, sorry I wasn't clear on the gallery thing. I meant that even though the color job was comp., you don't have to put it in any special gallery for that. again, sorry. I make sense in my own head. fuzzy logic. XP
