Hi PD members. If you have a moment to spare, please head on over to my profile and place a vote on my poll. After you vote, does it say "Thank you" and display the poll results? If you get any sort of errors or anything, please let me know. Also if nothing happens when you click Vote please tell me that too.

Just reply to this forum post if you notice any problems with it along with any detailed information you can provide me with. It's extremely helpful if you can tell me what browser you are using as well as what version it is. Also please indicate what operating system you are running.

The poll is located on my profile page.

The poll doesn't let me submit my vote. I can check the results (all of which are 0%, which leads me to think I'm not the only one it isn't working for), and I can switch back to the voting form, but I can't submit my vote.

I submitted a vote and the results popped right up for me, but it looked like mine was the only vote. I don't know if that is the case or not.

Using the latest Firefox, it allowed me to vote and displayed the results within a split second.

Firefox 2.0.0.11 -- didn't see a thank-you, but I see the results. Four people voted for the current demon, two voted for each of the bottom two on the list.

It worked fine for me but I went back to your page to check out the results and I ended up having to vote again just to see the results.

Edit: Oh nevermind scratch that I found the little results button [smiley]

Nothing happen when I pressed "Vote". And a little thing on the bottom left of my browser where it usually says "Done" said "Error on Page". But then, PD never configured quite well with my laptop in terms of the background.

Dollmaker, Cruffins, and Puayen, please tell me your browser and OS info when you get the chance. Are you running Internet Explorer? I'm seeing an error in IE 6 on Windows. The error I get is "option_id" is undefined.

Yeah, I was using IE, but I don't know what edition. I was using my school's computers. I can find out on Tuesday, though. o_o;

Ok no worries. I'm experiencing the same issue on my version of IE which is IE 6.0.2900.2180...

I have narrowed the problem down to a specific line of code but I'm not sure how to fix it yet. I'll get back to you all when I think i have it fixed.

I used IE 7 to test, selected the last option (the current PD), clicked Vote and it told me "You did not select an option." Same with all the other options. The results display fine.

I use an IE, it's not the newest edition with tab-browsing; should be the version for XP.

As a side note- the title for this poll goes over the "Home » Forums » Help Forum » If you have a chance, please help me test a new feature, Polls » Post Reply" area at the top. I've noticed this with the long titles- they don't seem to auto push the boxes down...

Ok a co-worker who's javascript savvy was able to help me fix the IE problem. The poll voting should now work in IE. Those of you with IE, please give it another try. You may have to click refresh or clear your cache.

The polls are looking quite ugly with my current skin. I still need to make the polls look pretty.
