Members with Premium Accounts will be glad to know that now their skin takes over practially the whole page except for a small navigation bar at the top.

I'm still working out the kinks but they seem to be minimal. I've been thinking for a long time about changing the skins feature to take over the whole page. Many of the skins just really clash with the rest of the PD site design. So now I've just constricted the PD branding to a small bar at the top. To see an example, just view my profile. I got the idea from Blogger but I noticed a few other sites are doing it now too like Live Journal. Anyway, I hope you like this change.

Just one question remains though.

Currently you can pick one skin for RC and another skin for PD. Should we change it so you only choose one skin and its used on both sides? That would make the skin system easier to maintain.

Nice idea. :3 Looks pretty, too. [emoticon]

If it'd be easier to maintain, I'd say go for it. And by easier to maintain, do you mean for the user, or sever- stress-wise?

Edit: I'm guessing you know this already, but the theme you have for your Profile still displays the login info even if you're already logged in. Just in case, though, I thought I'd mention it. [^_^;]

Sorry that was a bug, I just fixed it.

It would be easier for me to maintain and I think it will be less confusing for users since they just pick one theme instead of two. I think I'll make it so. Probably within the next few days er something.

Whatever is easier for you to maintain is what I would say you should do.  Thanks for all the hard work. [emoticon]

One profile is more than enough. Save yourself time, trouble and load/cache. <3

Well I just thought of a reason to keep two sets of skins. What if we created a skin that was mature in theme? we'd only want it to be available on the red curtain side. i'll have to think about it.

I'd really like a lighter skin for RedCurtain. I detest the dark backgrounds (hurts my eyes) so I never go to redcurtain if I can avoid it. Perhaps making the current PD theme or the whote Ivy theme available there too while you're at it then if you're keeping separate themes?

Yeah likely what I'll do is make almost the whole library of skins available to both sides with a few mature ones only available to the RC side.
