Hello PD peeps.
Not sure if you heard, but there's this new initiative that's been started called Drawing Day. Basically everyone stops what they are doing and draws on June 7th. Then everyone posts their drawings on sites like Flickr, DeviantArt, and of course, PaperDemon. I thought it was a really great idea so I've signed PaperDemon up to become an official supporter.
I hope all of you will join us on June 7th to help the online art community create 1,000,000 drawings world wide. PaperDemon will have a gallery set up dedicated to Drawing Day submissions. I'll release more detailed instructions closer to the event. I hope you'll draw with us and spread the word to your fellow artists, whether they be here or on other communities. On June 7th, we will all be united towards a common cause!

So what do you guys think? Do you have any creative ideas for how we can spread the word and become better participants in Drawing Day? I'd love to hear from everyone on this.

We could make it a whole big event thing like we did at the PD Social gathering a while back and make a Drawing day Oekaki forum specifically for it and encourage everyone to chat and to draw and stuff. Or have somekind of live chat/oekaki thing like ArtGrounds has but I don't know if that's gonna be a bit big to implement by then.
