Hello folks.

I've added ShareThis to the blogs and artwork. It's basically this little widgit that lets you share the webpage in various ways such as Digg, Reddit, Facebook, MySpace, del.icio.us, Blogger, Live Journal, and more. You can also use it to email the page to someone.

If this ends up being successful, I'd like to encorporate into other areas such as the forums, writing, comics, profiles, and other areas.

How many of you use these sorts of services (Digg, Reddit, Facebook, etc)? Please reply and let me know which ones you use.

Of those I only use Facebook. [smiley]

Speaking of which, if there's enough PD members on there, think we could start a PD group?

I use LiveJournal. I also have a MySpace page, but I rarely use it. [smiley]

Sure thing. Send me a link to it if you create one. If there are any PD groups on other social networks, let me know. Perhaps we could create a page listing all of the groups [smiley]

I don't use any of those, sorry. xD;

I just don't really see any reason for me to have a FaceBook or MySpace or whatever. :/

Digg, reddit, and Delicious aren't social networking sites though. Digg specifically is a link sharing site. When you find a web page that has something really cool or interesting on it, then you 'digg' it. Pages with the most diggs are then put onto the RSS feeds which people can subscribe to so that they find the coolest pages on the net. They are sorted by topic as well. So there's a Video Games Digg feed which you can subscribe to to see some neat video game related stuff.

Errr... ok so I just found this other service similar to "Share This" except its called "AddThis." I may replace all the sharethis buttons with addthis because addthis looks nicer.
