As for a PC vs Mac. I'd rather have a PC. and of that I rather build my own than buy one off the shelf. But I'm talking about the iPhone. thats a different world.
was looking at the LG VU, but its main thing is the TV and its not in my area yet. as for other touch screan phones. they kinda look like knock offs of the iPhone. and their batterylife is less than that of the iPhone.
as far as Sony. Their TV's and Monitors are some of the best in the Market. phones are so so.
Nokia has so far the best over all Phones. Call quality and durability. Samsung is a close second. Just got an LG SHine, that phone looks really nice and so far its well worth the money. One of my favorite phones so far.The Motorola's are kinda crappy compared. Bad reception and fragile. The Sony, that was ok the call quality was lousy.

I got the classic. Cuz I'm a classy girl! Haha, not. Ya, the 80 GB classic was a sweet deal. I only paid $150 for a brand new one. I would have loved to have gotten the iphone, but my policy with electronics is to wait for a newer model to come out so the first is cheaper. But now I'm in college and poor, so I can't afford fancy new stuff...sigh....

I actually really miss my old 20 GB black and white screen iPod. It had a firewire cable. Why they switched to the slower USB 2.0 is beyond me. It's not like the old ones didn't work on USB for PC people with no firewire port. You could choose. I liked having the choice. Firewire is nice, particularly if you are using your iPod as a portable hard drive for large video files. I was so sad when that thing died.
I ended up replacing it with a real portable hard drive and a shuffle. I like the shuffle. I have found that I really don't need my iPod to do anything other than play music. The only crappy thing is that it has a totally different connecter than other iPods so I can't use my old wall and car chargers. I have to plug it into my computer.
As for brand loyalty to the great white giant, I just like that I can take my stuff into the store when it breaks and, if it doesn't need a part replaced, they fix it for free. They worked magical necromancy on my old iPod a couple times before I had to give it up for dead.
