-- My latest submission. [smiley] I'm thinking of making a little series of mini-illustrations of this girl (called Cecilie, if anyone cares xD). She came to out ofthe blue. (Haha, áin't I a good rhymer? XD) It would be kind of interesting to try to do a children's book featuring her.

-- My 830992810th try at digital portrait-making, haha. I'm notdone with this yet, but I think it looks rather promising, no? (Sorry to those who dislike male x male situations.) I'm going to try to get this printed somehow and.. maybe offer some of those prints for sale once everything's ready. [smiley]

-- My own OCs Tim and Melvin, Mel being my favorite, haha. Tim has only shown up in this drawing so far, but I hope there'll be more of him when I've figured out his personality, haha.

The lighting is what I'm most pleased with in this one. The coloring is the best I've done digital wise.

just the sheer enormity of this thing automatically makes it one of my best I think because I never thought that I would be able to do something as big as this X[

I'm totally proud of the anatomy [smiley]

and finally this one cause I managed to pull off the perspective...and I drew feet for the first time! XD

- Colored Pencil on Cheap Laser printer paper. Quick sketches, and I think a few came out fairly decent. (Traditional Media)

- digital media. Artwork I painted for Lynn Flewelling. One of my better and more detailed pieces. (100% Digital Media)

- sample of my inking (Without tone) for comic style printing. (This was done as an illustration for a book... I ended up marrying the author! LOL! He said he married me for free art, I told him I married him for his large plasma TV so we're even. ^_^) (100% Digital Media) close up of ink detail.

- Same image as above after screentone applied. (100% Digital Media)

(100% Digital Media) includes using = Manga Studio EX Pro (For SKetching and Inking stages), Adobe Photoshop CS2 (For Color and finish work), Poser 6 (Sometimes for pose modling), Wacom inutos III 9x12 or/and wacom intuos II 12x12 tablets (I alternate between both tablets).

I really have issues with all my work, it is more like a learning experiance for me, but I think that all the work here on this thread looks great. Nice to see it in this format, it is like a mini gallery. [smiley]

- My most recent and one of the more detailed of my pieces. I'm currently fixing an issue with it before reposting (darkening the grass), but all in all, I'm pretty pleased with how the textures came out. All hand drawn with mechanical pencil. (thanks to Saimain for inspiration on fabric patterning)

This one holds a special place in my heart because it was the very first piece I did that I actually concentrated fully on all the textures and aspects of background. I have better pieces since then, but this one is certainly the send-off for them.

Autumn Fay has hands down beaten all my other pieces in popularity since I published it. So I suppose it must be one of my best? I can see so many errors in it, but I know I spent a lot of time concentrating on textures and different sections of the drawing - right down to the leaves on the ground.

I think that's enough for now. I have 15 pages of gallery. I think it's just about time to go through and delete some old ones - or at least their WIPs.

I was wrong, though. I thought I wouldn't start again until after my textile project for my dad's birthday was done, but the Flute spirit is already well underway. *sigh* I am not very good at doing what I know I SHOULD be doing.

so...ähm.. I think I can also show a little picture.

So this is my Deeliah, Goddess in a Snowleopardcoat. I think this is one of my best Artworks here on paperdemon. Only the fact that it isn't bigger than din A5 (even Smaller) makes it special, I really like it. And it is an illustration of my Handwritten book I'm working at.

(Ps.... I didn't get this with the thumb ^^"

Hmm... I've been a bit inactive on PD lately (surfing on Gaia and DA mostly), so here's something to warm things up:

A Gaia commission piece that was supposed to be just lineart, but which I ended up doing a lot more for the heck of it. Tried out a new (or not so new) style with ballpoint cross-hatching, and I am quite happy with the results. I think this piece will be the first step for me into another big leap in terms of drawing skills.

A lineart commission for the same person as the one above. I... just quite like this one too.

Thank you everyone for sharing your arts! I'll jump in with a few of mine too.

- This is my stoopid Chicken. He's very stoopid looking. I drew this at work while working on a very stressful illustration project involving chickens and other animals.

- This is my late secret santa gift for Arkillian involving her two characters Alex and Athena. I love the swirly background and the color palette.

- This is one of my old ones from 2004. It's really simple but something about it is just really cool to me. I think it's the color and the way the line interacts with it on his left sleeve. I've tried a few times after this to try and get the same effect as this one. I think I should give it another try sometime.

- I really need to get around to coloring this one. It's a drawing of Vegeta and Bulma. I like the emotion in this one. Vegeta's hands seem so warm and comforting.

I think it's how the further parts of him are faded out very quickly, and the background instead of just staying at the back sort of comes forth and envelops him, so he's like floating in a cosmic nebula or... something.

(Hon- to do a thumb, you do [ thumb #### ] without spaces- the #### being the submission number, like [thumb 20401] makes )

It's a nice picture. I'm not much of an anthro person, but the cheeky level isn't lost on me [smiley]

I'm very happy with the following:

- This is a picture that I was inspired to do by a vision, but the pencils were let sit for over a year before I got around to finishing it. It's only recently that I was able to dig up my scanner that actually scans coloured pencil, pastels, and watercolours and such decently, so I suppose it's just as well. [smiley]

- One of my favourites of one of my favourite subjects -- Luceferos, or Lucifer! I did this particular piece to get myself back in the feel to do a comic that I'm going to be bringing online, which is art nouveau/jugendstil themed in terms of look, called Pandemonium Renaissance.

- A very quick portrait of a character whom I adore, but I think it turned out well. I wanted to give him the innocent sweetness that is part of him, with an undercurrent of mischief. I think it worked!

I'm pleased with others too, I just need to get them uploaded here! I love PaperDemon, I just also like to give the people here a chance to digest my artwork before putting up more. I'll be posting some more very soon.
