Merry Christma-Hanu-Kwanzika and Happy New Year!
I just bought a house so I got a lot of stuff for the house; serving trays, cookie sheets, dish towels, casserole dish, dishes, etc.
What did you guys get? Was there anything you were excited about getting? How about something you were hoping to get but ended up not being under your tree? Was Santa good to you this year?

Funny thing is I thinkI enjoy Christmas presents when I'molder versus younger because, though I get fewer things, they are the things I really want/can use. Like I got a laptop and a sewing machine this year. Also got some fashion accesories, which are always good too, for me anyways. Also got some smaller stuff as well. And yaaay for getting stuff for your house. Have you gotten it all painted and everything yet ?

Yeah I know what you mean about getting stuff you can use. It's like, a lot of the times you just get junk that piles up and you can't do anything with. But when you get something that is actually useful you get more excited about it. A new laptop sounds pretty good!
The house is already painted. it's not brand new. It's from 1969. But the last owners repainted it fairly recently. We may only just paint one of the rooms.

Very nice, I love older homes versus these newer cookie-cut homes -- they lack personality.

Happy New Year y'all.
I guess I got an air-ticket and vacation back home (from US to China) for Xmas O___O It was great.
Also got a 1:200 Boeing 777 model at the HongKong airport. Ready to redecorate my room airplane-style this year. (Also planning on getting killer deals on iPod Touch from eBay. I'm takling about those under $10.00 or slightly over. I'm not an avid eBayer, so if anyone know these too-good-to-be-true deals ARE indeed too-good-to-be-true, pls let me know ASAP.)

Ive never bought one to test the theory but Im gonna take a guess that since the iPods can easily be between 100 - 200 $ and sometimes more (the ipod touche is nearly 300$
, so my guess that either someone is going to try and rip you off and not actually give you what you paid for or that the items are hot.

I wish New Zealand could whine about prices being that 'high' T.T
The American artists wonder why there's no attention for them in NZ... Comics cost $9 here each. It's what.... $3 in America? I'd love to pay what American's do for stuff >.>

How do you mean? Like what people pay for one individual issue of a comic?

Those 32 page full colour comics that companies like Marvel and DC make? Yeah. $9 each. We pay $23 for the Viz collected comics too. It's SO expensive being a comic fan. It's cause of the dollar and shipping fees. Everything you guys make doubles in price, and then some.

I got to be my niece's new favorite person. Over christmas, she decided that she liked me better than all her other relatives (excluding her mom and dad of course). I'm the youngest in my family next to her, and I've never had any experience with babies. I got to feed her and she fell asleep in my arms. She never lets anyone do those things unless they're her parents. It was sweet beyond words. I really wish I got a picture of it, but with how much she likes me, I'm sure I'll get more chances.
