Our Halloween plans changed several times in the last few days leading up to it, and in the end the lot of us would up taking off to Tampa for the weekend, and went to Busch Gardens the night of. Amazingly, while the park had been packed the day before, was VERY opened up Halloween night. I'm a coaster girl and never had to wait more than ten minutes per line. Even the haunted houses had short lines, which was amazing for us, because we wound up spanning most of the park more than once, trying to get around to see everything.
But as they wouldn't allow costumes, we just had to settle with be silly and slighty dressy--which was cool, because I wound up looking like some escapee reject from a midnight showing of Rocky Horror >DD
The one real photo is here, taken with their vampire model girls--who were hilarious and very sweet;

And in the photo, yes that is an iguana, and no, he isn't real. XD When the girls found out we had him, they insisted he be in the picture too, which was great, because that's what I'd hoped for.
--but I've been in the market to get a giant iguana puppet for a while (long story), so when I found one at the park, I had to fork over for him. I didn't want a bag and kept him held to my chest, head over my shoulder the entire time walking the park--and surprisingly, LOTS of people thought he was real.
I blame this that it was dark and there was beer in the park. >D
--but I digress, it's great fun even when the park staff starts doing double takes.
But all in all, we had a great time with the attractions, had a few jumps and startles (a friend is now terrified of the 'moss people' XD), and a real rippin time over all.
