Hey there Paper Demons, I am just wondering what fellow artists influences/favArtists are. Where does the style you put forth come from? [emoticon]

[emoticon] I don't know about the style I put forth, but whenever I see really good art, it makes me want to draw. Sometimes I try to copy the style, and it rubs off on mine. [emoticon]

Hmmm.. I suppose I mean more like an original influence then style.... maybe. For example I am influenced by Brian froud, and a lot of marvel comics artist, Somewhat by Brom's work. These are artist that have work that has prompted my own imagination to flow onto paper. Sometimes in the forms of similar creations somtimes just a mood they conveyed was enough to make me want to try and capture that feeling. Basically these are my favorite artists.

I am influenced by the japanese artists who draw anime online! =D Well, like good ones. ^^; What i mean is that.... i usually also get influences off of myself. If i have something going on here, i try to draw it... Well... i guess that's it... or else i don't really know what you're saying. That's what i get my oringal style from.

Ah, I see. Well, I'm not so sure that I have a favourite artist, so I guess I'm not really influenced by anyone. [emoticon] I'd have to reeeally think about it for a while. [emoticon]

In my early years I was deeply influenced by fantasy artist Boris Vallejo. His ability to make fantasy look so 'real' is what really enthralls me. I've added Brom and Rowena to that list in recent years. They are stellar fantasy artists. [emoticon]

Greg Land.

Do a google serch on his art and find a bucket to drool in. He reinspired me to draw again after drawing DBZ for 2 years bleed my origanal drawing style completely out- my friends all commented that they liked my origanal style beter, and I became depressed cause I wasn't inspired to draw realism anymore. Then I discovered who Greg Land was, and saw the beuty that my art could be. I don't draw like him, but if I did... :drools:
