OC Remix accepts Beyond Midgar

I am happy to announce that a second video game piano arrangement of mine has made it onto Overclocked Remix! It's been passed by the judges but it has not yet been posted on the site. I'll post the link to it when it becomes available.

I'm thinking of possibly moving on to synthesized orchestrated remixes in the future. This summer will be the time to invest some money in a nice remixing program. Anyway, if you are just itching to hear the song, you can download it from my site in the Multimedia section. It's a piano arrangment of the overworld theme to Final Fantasy 7. here's the link to Beyond Midgar:

Yay! I feel special. I need to get around to recording more stuff. Some of the music on my site is sloppy and underdeveloped but my OC remix stuff is creme of the crop for me. People keep asking me for more songs but it's really time consuming to record and clean up the audio.

Um, bad news. They decided my remix still needs review. Some judges are voting yes and some are voting no. It looks like I have a good chance but I've asked for the comments the judges have so that I can improve my remix and get more yes votes. I'll keep you posted.

Anyway, I never got around to posting the newest recording of my arrangement of Beyond Midgar. It's 10 times better than the one before and it's on its way to OC Remix for review!
