The Crit Wall *New Feature!*

I've implemented a new feature here at PaperDemon. You can now designate what type of critique you'd like for your artwork, ranging from no comments at all to a full on roast! All artwork that doesn't have a comment designation will default to the "Candy Coated," which means give me some constructive criticism but break it to me easy.

Also, all artwork that you mark as wanting to be Roasted will also be placed in a special gallery designated as The Crit Wall. So be sure to check out the Crit Wall from time to time and help out the artists that have placed their artwork in there.

To change existing artwork commenting settings, simply click edit art next to the artwork you wish to change. You'll see the comment preferences area right beneath the description field.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this new feature!


By the way, I hope to implement this same feature for the writing section very soon.

That is absolutely awesome.  Thank you so much, I'm really really grateful to have this feature and I appreciate its implementation.  I think it's absolutely magnificent!

Honestly, there's no need for you to be sorry!

But really this is *the* best system for critiques I have ever seen.  Every other place I've ever been is so crap about this.  You can either say 'I don't want critiques' or 'you have carte blanche', usually.  But here, you can say what *kind* of feedback you'd like, and that is absolutely brilliant, especially with how you've done it.  It even reminds you at the comment box.

I'm really, really impressed and really grateful too.  Thanks so much, again, for doing this.  This place is now the only gallery of its kind that I've ever felt this way about.  I'm really, really grateful.

There we GO! That is a much more brilliant idea Suz ^^ I'm loveing a crit board idea It be good to speed the love on prics we want it on, rather than the fun drool type ones :3 Love it ^^

it does? holy crap it does that in Internet Explorer but not Firefox. That's why i didn't notice it. I'll fix it right away.

Hey, I have a quick question.  When I was looking at reviews for writing I noticed that the crit ratings apply to them as well.  Is that right?  If so, how can I change the rating for my own writing?  Thanks!

 

The writing one is still a work in progress. Just go to "My Writing" and then click "Edit story" and you should see the options there.
