OMG- is it me or is there a million fanart catagories?! BR, can we shorten the list by combining some stuff, or can we make the list feel shorter by making a drop box please? ^^; Most of my art is origanal, and scrolling down the WHOLE list is getting worse with every new member to PD/new interests. I love fanart, but posting it has got to be easier than this- please hon? [emoticon] *huggles*

It's something that I've come to notice too.  There are quite a few catagories.  I remember Susie mentioning something about the reason why there are so many....  I'll have to look back through some posts.

Yeah I started developing a system where you could Search for the category you wanted but I haven't finished developing it yet. I'll see if I can get this taken care of on Sunday.

Serching sounds good, but what about fanart submissions? Do they all get put into fanart and serched if you want something more specific? It's a little hard- I hope BR can come up with something nice and simple ^^;

The search thingy was just taking up too much time. I was doing it using a Flash interface and I was getting frustrated with it. So instead I took Reina's advice and made the Original/Fanart one a drop down box. I didn't do the same for the Asthetic Concept because that one requires multiple selections so instead I just put the checkboxes into three columns to shorten the page a little. I applied the same changes to the writing categories page too.

Hope that helps aleviate your sore hands (from all the eccessive scrolling) [emoticon]

Personally, I'm just really grateful that she has so many. I don't mind. And they're in order so it's not so bad for me. In any case, I'm cool with whatever happens. ^_^

It's not the AMOUNT of catagorys- its scrolling past them- its a page and a half of scrolling on my screen, and my resolution is up HIGH. It takes a while, and I want the amount of catagories to go up with the different interests coming to PD. We can keep making the list longer in that format though. Well drive ourselves nuts ^^;

No offence BR- It was great when we only had 5 cataries under fanart ^^;
