Site Design for the Red Curtain & other news

Ok so this news post is a couple days late... so sue me.

A couple days ago I put up a new site design for the Red Curtain site. I think it looks pretty good and it's a nice contrast to the PaperDemon side. Both have Paper Demon's at the bottom in the same pose, but the RC version has appropriately been stripped of his clothing He also looks very dark which really fits the dark feel of the Red Curtain. I've also changed the background color for the RC and it is pretty much going to be a permanent change. Meaning the RC will stay its current background color for forever as with the PD side because of the profile skins feature (The profile skins feature is still a work in progress that will be available to Premium Members when Premium membership is offered next month. You may notice the Mods, Beta Testers, and I have various skins on our profile pages).

I expect to be ready to offer Premium Memberships by mid February. Payments will be accepted only through Paypal so if you are planning on purchasing a Premium Membership but do not yet have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one now. It will take a few days for your bank account to be confirmed and all of that junk. Paypal is free. Sign up at http://www.paypal.com.

I'm very close to finishing perhaps the best of the Premium Membership features which is Personal Galleries. I hope to have this finished by the end of the week if not sooner. Hopefully by the end of February I will have a similar feature available for writing.

Speaking of writing, I had a thought earlier today. Would those of you that submit writing here on PD be interested in having the ability to post an image with each chapter of your story? It could be like cover art or a title image that would be placed above the text of your chapter. I know there are a lot of people on Deviant Art who post an image with their writing. Just wondering if this is something you guys would want.

Even though i havnt actually posting nething 'cept comments on here...and love'd alot of work ppl have done, i think having an image with writing would be kool..so...1 vote yes? lol

Red Curtain looks really great now!

And I would love to be able to post a picture with a few chapters of my fanfics! My friend Sasha is going to illustrate a couple of scenes and it would be great to have them on the same page as the story. Obviously, I'd give Sasha full credit for the pictures though!

I'm sure it looks very beautiful! ^_^ You do a very good job of web programing. I promise, as soon as I'm 18 I'll go look!

Though, I haven't posted any writing on this site yet, I'm hoping to do so soon and I think posting pictures with the writing is an awesome idea!

Yes, images with writing would a be a wonderful addition - and Red Curtain looks awesome. 

I'm missing my premium account...  *le sigh*  And now I have to wait for student loans to come in.

Thanks guys for all the comments. I'm glad you like the image idea. BY the way, those of you who have places to store images (such as your own webserver) can put images already into your writing just like what has been done with the tutorials in the writing section.

I'll get that new feature for the writing section up hopefully in a couple months. I might be able to do it sooner but the new features for Premium members takes priority. Let me know if there are any other features you'd like to see at PD.

Oh sorry Song, I was in a hurry when I typed this message and I forgot to answer your question. A BETA tester is someone who helps me test new features that haven't been released to site members yet. I'm looking for members who are pretty good with the computer and with general web browsing and know their way around the site well and would be willing to help me find bugs in the new features.
