Someone sent me this link to a website where you can put in your address and see if there are any registered sex offenders in your neighborhood. It shows PICTURES and the crimes that the offenders committed!

For those living in California, here's another website that does the same thing but also gives other info like if they have tattoos and whatnot:

So look up your address and be on the lookout for these people.

Put things in perspective: there are a LOT of people living in California (about 35 million or so) and unless you're seeing literally hundreds of them, I wouldn't be too worried.
Nevertheless, it never hurts to be careful. I'm very happy that these resources are available.

I totally freaked out because it said there were like around 5 of them living like almost nearby in apartments and around 300-500 in a total area...urh! Well, maybe they moved? Or maybe not? Bah, I'm being paranoid again xD

Thanks, Susie! It's kind of scary anymore. There's a guy a block over and a block back from my house who was convicted of 4 accounts with his own kids and their friends. Needless to say, I've had a cellphone since I was 9. XD
