I watched the first episode when I was 8 years old. I viewed a meteor crash into the planet, saw a farmer fire a shotgun at the extraterrestrial, watched him catch the bullet, thought the show was stupid, and swore to never watch it again.

^^ most definetly- actualy, DBZ taught me musles, and also made me aware that I could deviate my style from realism and still look good. It tore my drawing style to peices, but when I got it back again, I could draw alot better ^^

When I accidentally watched DBZ on TV some years ago and saw Vegta , I was hooked from the first moment. But it was in the middle of the show, so I was straight going to the next book store and bought all of the Mangas (#17-42) at once. The shop assistant has gotten very very big eyes ![[emoticon]](http://www.paperdemon.com/images/forum/mysmilies/15pxyellow_bigeyes.gif)

And I so much like to read yaoi fanfics and look at fanarts with Vegeta and Goku as a pairing. I started with Vegeta/Bulma stories and still like that pairing too.
I try to do my own fanarts ans fanfics, but haven’t done much yet and I’m still a beginner with that.

I love DragonBall Z!!!!! I remember watching DBZ in spanish on a daily basis because I loved it so much! I didn't understand much of anything but the action was spectacular! Then I started buying it in english on VHS. Then once DVD's started coming out I started buying those and I refuse to watch it in anything but Japanese now.
